Kaye Barr Psychologist
26 Surrey Road, Wilson WA
Kaye Barr is a registered psychotherapist and psychologist Perth. She works mainly with adult individuals and couples, including same-sex couples. She offers a discreet, supportive counselling service from two metropolitan locations. Kaye also offers phone or Skype counselling for clients in geographically isolated situations such as country towns, farms or mine sites, within Australia or overseas. Phone counselling can be very effective for psychological service, with many of the advantages of face to face interaction, as well as some that are unique to phone consulting. Style of Counselling Kaye works across a broad range of personal difficulties. She specialises in assisting people to reach their full potential through self-awareness. There can be many reasons for confusion, distress or blockage. Some may be from outer situations such as loss or difficulty with fertility, while some may come from patterns within us, learned in earlier years, that have become ‘part of the inner furniture’. Essentially, one is meeting with the person who has the issue, and together exploring the problem issue, and its effects. Once the difficulty is explored understood, the way towards resolution becomes more clear. Once the ‘sense’ is found, greater control returns and we may experience more energy for everyday living. Kaye’s psychology Perth services can assist you with: - anger management - stress management - the experiences of depression and anxiety - relationship difficulties - development of effective communication skill - recovering direction in lives affected by alcohol - coping with grief and/or loss - the experience of infertility, and pregnancy issues - self esteem enhancement - personal growth and understanding - recovery of a sense of balance and well-being - phone counselling A qualified psychotherapist, and psychologist, Kaye offers a non-judgmental environment, in which the meaning of present actions or difficulties may gently emerge. One may then realise the purpose or function of the troubling issue, and regain a sense of balance and well-being.
