Tara Boylan

Tara is a dedicated and experienced physiotherapist who obtained her Physiotherapy degree from Curtin University in Perth, her hometown. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable expertise in various areas of physiotherapy, including private practice, hospitals, and community-based settings. However, her true passion lies in supporting clients on their journey to recovery from injuries and helping them regain strength through Clinical Pilates. Tara’s commitment to her clients extends to her special interest in working with pre and postnatal women, providing them with the support they need during this transformative stage of their lives. As a recent mother herself, Tara understands the unique challenges and experiences that come with pregnancy and postpartum. This personal connection allows her to provide empathetic and effective care to her clients. Tara strongly believes in client-centered care and values the importance of empowering her clients through education and exercise. She combines these approaches with manual therapy techniques to help her clients achieve their goals and regain their enjoyment of life. Tara also enjoys helping her clients through movement and is trained in Clinical Pilates and the GLA:D osteoarthritis program and runs classes for the Ocean Grove community in this space. To further enhance her skills and knowledge, Tara is currently pursuing additional studies in Men’s and Women’s Pelvic Health, ensuring that she can continue to provide a high standard of evidence-based care. Outside of her professional life, Tara leads an active lifestyle. She is an avid runner and skier, having spent three years living overseas in pursuit of her love for snow sports. You may also find her enjoying quality time with her family, walking her two dogs along the beach, or camping along the scenic Great Ocean Road.
