Dr Rosemary Craig graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has worked for over 20 years in the Northern Rivers region performing skin checks, diagnostic dermoscopy and skin excisions as a part of wholistic healthcare. Rosemary belongs to the Skin Cancer College of Australasia, Wounds Australia, the Australasian Wound and Tissue Repair Society and the Australian Society for Biophysics. Since 2015, Rosemary has been an Adjunct Professional Fellow of the Faculty of Health at the Southern Cross University, Lismore working on a new wound dressing which aims to reduce healing times and minimise the final scar. This technology is being commercialised with help from the CSIRO and the University of Queensland, and won the NASA iTech competition in 2020, beating a wide range of other emerging international innovations.
