Daniel is a psychologist with a particular interest in working with anxiety, depression, and trauma, but has experience working with a wide range of difficulties. He is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and has practiced in primary mental health care, university clinic, specialist anxiety clinic, and inpatient private hospital settings.
Dan is a strong believer in the value of evidence-based medicine, and has completed a PhD focused on the role of sleep in mental health. He is familiar with a number of evidence-based therapies, including CBT, ACT, IPT, and attachment-focused work. However, he will work with you as you determine what is effective for your specific situation. His clinical philosophy is “do what works”. Dan recognises that mental illness is common and firmly believes there is always hope for positive change.
