*Sam was awarded Physiotherapist of the Year 2022 at Australia’s Allied Health Awards Sam loves physiotherapy. Sam obtained his undergraduate physiotherapy degree at Monash University and wrote an Honour thesis on use of isometric exercise for treating tendon pain. Sam has served as the Vice-President of two councils for the Australian Physiotherapy Association - the Victorian Branch Council and the Victorian Business Council. Sam has always delivered private consultations and group consultations (the later being a combination of pilates classes and Over60s classes). In recent years, Sam has supervised research at Monash University and consulted privately at local aged-care facilities while maintaining a full-time clinical load. Outside of physiotherapy, Sam is a member of Inverloch Surf Life Saving Club (volunteering as a rescue swimmer with the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Service for six summers) and has toured Russia (twice) as a humanitarian clown visiting hospitals, orphanages & schools with Dr. Patch Adams and
