More than just a practitioner, Tom acts as a partner in your journey, taking the time to educate and support you, ensuring that each session is customised for effective recovery and long-term wellness.
Tom’s journey to becoming an osteopath began long before his career started, it began in his childhood. A sporty kid with an injury-prone streak, Tom was no stranger to Physiotherapists and Osteopaths, who helped him recover from various setbacks. However, it was as a teenager, witnessing the transformative impact of osteopathy firsthand, that his passion truly took root. After his mother badly injured her back in a car accident, Tom attended her Osteopathy appointments and saw the profound difference Osteopathy made in her life. Inspired by this experience, he knew that Osteopathy was the path he wanted to pursue.
With a clinical focus on ankle and knee injuries, sports injury assessment, management, rehabilitation and performance science, Tom is also trained in advanced techniques including Osteopathic manipulative therapy, exercise rehabilitation, dry needling, strength and conditioning and sports performance optimisation. His experience spans private practices across Queensland, Tasmania, and Victoria as well as working with teams and elite athletes in the AFL, NRL, VFL, AIHL, ATP & WTA tennis tours and gymnastics.
Outside of the clinic, Tom brings his love for sport and movement into his personal life. A keen runner, he competes in trail and ultra-marathon events, pushing himself to new limits on and off the beaten path. He also enjoys winding down by playing the piano and guitar and watching just about any sport with the F1, AFL and the English Premier League being some of Tom’s favourites.
