Melissa graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry from The University of Melbourne. Melissa has gained invaluable experience in various locations including volunteering in Cambodia. There, she helped those less fortunate by screening for cataract surgery. Melissa has spent that last two years in Warrnambool gaining extensive experience managing amblyopic children, ocular diseases, glaucoma and various dry eye conditions. After receiving her first pair of glasses in school, Melissa became passionate about pursuing Optometry in order to help others with their sight. Melissa’s interests include paediatric optometry, ocular management and foreign body removal. Dr Melissa Ung has already become a valued member of our Yarra Junction Optical family. We are delighted for her to join our community.
