Hayley Kupke

Hayley gained her optometric qualifications in Queensland at QUT in 2006. She has practiced in rural Queensland over the last 7 years. In this time she has also worked alongside ophthalmologists at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in glaucoma research in Boston (USA) for 2 years, and travelled through Qld and SA as a locum Optometrist. Earlier this year Hayley and her family relocated to Southern Tasmania and she joined the team at Total Eyecare. Hayley has developed a particular interest in ocular disease detection and management and paediatric optometry. She finds it very rewarding to serve her patients with thorough ocular health checks, accurate refractions and high quality frames and lens designs to best meet patient needs. Hayley completed further study in Qld in 2012 to enable her to prescribe topical medications for eye conditions. Hayley has travelled both within Australia and abroad as part of volunteer medical teams serving community eyecare needs. Outside optometry, Hayley, her husband Paul, and young daughter enjoy travelling, good food, water skiing and snowboarding.
