Dr Joseph Macri Senior Resident Optometrist Dr Joseph Macri is a dedicated optometrist with a passion for eye care sparked by a childhood injury to his left eye. Graduating with honors from the University of New South Wales in 2003, Joseph has accumulated extensive experience across Australia. His career has taken him from Darwin, where he worked closely with Indigenous communities, to various locum positions in Sydney, Newcastle, Canberra, Perth, and Adelaide. Joseph has practiced in both independent and corporate optometry settings, gaining valuable insights into diverse patient needs and clinical practices. Additionally, he has enriched his expertise by working alongside ophthalmologists. Outside of optometry, Joseph finds joy in fine dining, martial arts training, and cherishing family moments. His commitment to eye health, coupled with a holistic approach, underscores his dedication to improving patient's visual outcomes and enhancing their quality of life.
