Known for his personalised, respectful, and holistic approach, Dr. Homar provides gentle, patient-centered care from his practice locations in Toowoomba and its surrounding regions. Dr. Homar began his obstetrics and gynaecology training at The Canberra Hospital, completing rotations at Calvary Hospital and Launceston General Hospital before advancing his expertise in complex laparoscopy and surgical procedures on the Gold Coast. In 2017, he earned his Master of Reproductive Medicine from UNSW, deepening his passion for supporting women struggling with conception. Dedicated to achieving positive outcomes, Dr. Homar embraces a holistic approach to fertility care, encouraging patients to make lifestyle changes that promote reproductive health. He works collaboratively with each patient to create tailored treatment plans, ensuring they are fully informed about the risks, benefits, and potential outcomes of their care. Dr. Homar’s special interests include low- and high-risk pregnancies, general gynaecology, and surgical procedures such as pelvic organ prolapse repair and urinary incontinence treatment. As the first obstetrician and gynaecologist to become a certified Calmbirth educator, he offers unique support for expecting parents. He consults and performs minor procedures at his East Toowoomba practice and Toowoomba Surgicentre, consults monthly at Goondiwindi Medical Centre, and performs major surgeries at St. Vincent’s Hospital and St. Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital. Dr. Homar is also deeply committed to giving back. Each year, he travels to Madagascar with Australian Doctors for Africa to provide free consultations, surgeries, and staff training.
