We at Tindale Family Practice have been providing health care to the Penrith Community for over 35 years. We are committed to providing high quality care to you and your family. Our practice is owned and operated by eight full time GPs (5 male and 3 female) with a team of longstanding and friendly staff and a loyal patient base. We are fully computerised and offer full-time registered nurse support, dedicated consulting rooms and a fully equipped treatment room, on-site pathology collection and Pharmacy. We provide a wide range of medical services to a diverse multi-cultural area. Our first priority is to always provide a patient-centric approach so that we consistently deliver the best care possible for each patient’s needs. The practice has adopted the “Person centred home” model of care where we put the patient in the centre of their healthcare.

Our Doctor(s) We welcome Dr (Mrs) Sujatha R. Swaminathan (pronounced Dr Swami-Nathan), our Principal GP, as our female doctor at WCMC in South Penrith. Being a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) with abundant work experience in NSW & Tasmania. Sujatha has had reputable work experience at Tresillian, a mother-infant centre attached to NSW Government located at Nepean Hospital, Kingswood, NSW. Dr Swaminathan is a Canadian national and an Australian qualified GP with post-graduate qualifications in Gynaecology & Obstetrics from a reputed Government Indian university. She has both local and international experience in providing adequate health care and appropriate patient management. She specializes in Women’s health, Children’s health with emphasis on chronic diseases management, mental health issues, care for the elderly and Palliative care. She has work exposure and professional qualifications from Australia, India and Canada, with exposure to multi-cultural environments. Dr Swaminathan is very caring, patient friendly and ensures all patient problem areas are addressed. She is a happily married mother of two and loves spending time with her family.
