Christopher Iles

Dr Iles qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and worked in a variety of practices prior to taking up a position with DB Dental in Innaloo.Dr Iles is a general dentist and enjoys all aspects of dentistry from fillings and dentures, to root canal treatments, to crowns and bridges. His specific subject interests within dentistry are:– Paediatric dentistry – acclimatising young children to the dental surgery environment and providing simple and effective treatments and advice. Dr Iles aims to build confidence and help children look after their teeth thus giving them the best possible start on the road to healthy teeth for life.– Root canal treatments (Endodontics) – removal of inflamed and/or infected tooth pulp due to decay, trauma, cracks, crowns or large fillings.– Minor oral surgery – specifically the extraction of badly decayed and broken teeth that need to be removed to prevent pain and infection.– Prosthodontics – the replacement of missing teeth by the use of dentures, bridges and implants.Dr Iles is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), the Australia and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry (ANZSPD), and the Australian Prosthodontic Society (APS).He is also a qualified pharmacist, holding a Masters (MPharm) degree and working in the field for 10 years, so patients taking multiple medications can rest assured that they will be well looked after during their treatment.During his time away from the dental surgery, Dr Iles enjoys keeping fit by cycling, swimming, trail and road running, however, he most enjoys spending his free time with his wife and young son, soaking up the fantastic quality of life that WA has to offer.
