Kent Tan

After studying at some of the world’s leading universities and dental institutions, Dr Kent Tan decided to make Perth his home. Each year, Dr Tan performs between 500 - 1000 dental implants, so it’s no wonder he is highly regarded as an elite dental implant dentist. After graduating from the University of Queensland and receiving the ‘Professor R R Stephens’ prize, Dr Kent Tan joined a practice specialising in oral surgery and dental implants. Over the next four years, he honed his skills and built the foundations for his career. Dr Tan went on to further his qualifications by obtaining a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, one of the most established and respected surgical corporations in the world. This was followed with even further study, graduating from the Master Clinician Programme in Implant Dentistry in Los Angeles, USA. Dr Tan is also a lecturer in the field of dental implants and has presented both locally and nationally. Owning and operating a dental implant practice was always a lifelong dream for Dr Tan. While his work as a surgeon is often applauded by colleagues, it is the smiles and praise from his patients that means the most.
