Hira, an Oral Health Therapist at Adawn, graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Melbourne in 2019, Hira prides herself on delivering a high standard of care to all her patients – children and adults alike.
Hira’s practices demonstrate a strong focus on holistic, evidence based, preventive and minimally invasive dentistry. Hira’s gentle and thorough approach to dental hygiene makes her well-suited to treating patients of all ages, as well as those with dental anxiety and other additional needs. She focuses on patient-centred care and enjoys working in collaboration with her patients to help educate and motivate them to achieve optimal oral health, function, and aesthetics.
Hira’s clinical interests include periodontal therapy, guided biofilm therapy, and children’s dentistry. She constantly seeks to improve her skillset by participating in ongoing professional development courses.
Outside of Adawn Dental, Hira is a strong advocate for oral health promotion at kindergartens and works as part of the Victorian Government’s Smile Squad school dental vans initiative. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, reading a book on the beach, exploring the great outdoors, and taking a stroll through Melbourne’s laneways, parks, and cafés. Hira also engages in local volunteer opportunities such as the Teddy Bear Hospital and Good Friday Appeal.
