Ali and his wife Elly moved to Australia in 2008, they now have 2 children and a dog. Ali is a keen chess player and loves visiting local restaurants and walks along the beach with his family. In 2016 Ali decided that he wanted a private dental practice and went into partnership with his colleague Dr Siamak Mardani.

Siamak moved to Australia from Iran in 2012, He is a keen runner and table tennis player. He loves building his knowledge base on world history. He and Ali decided to go into business together in starting their own dental clinic.
