Ioana Corfield graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 1999. She has been a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian and New Zealand Paediatric Society for the past 2 decades. She is a clinical tutor at the University of Adelaide School of Dentistry where she enjoys training future dentists at the Adelaide Dental Hospital and on rural placements such as Mt Gambier and Port Lincoln. She completed a Graduate Diploma in Forensic Odontology at the University of Adelaide and has been assisting with casework at the forensic odontology unit since 2017. She enjoys looking after patients of all ages and helping them establish and maintain good oral health, in a family-friendly dental home. In her spare time, she loves baking, crossword puzzles and spending time with her family which includes a rescue bunny, a British shorthair rescue cat and four children.
