Dr. Mona has graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science along with a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry from Griffith University and she has been working in private practice since March 2017. She has also completed professional dental experience internships in Phoenix, Arizona and practical training involving a comprehensive overview of dental laboratory procedures and techniques at Glenora, California. She has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and provides patients with options for both direct and indirect restorative treatments. Outside of work, Dr Mona is a busy mum with two young children.

Dr Mariska Taverne completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland and worked on the Gold Coast before joining us at Anzac Avenue Dental. She has an interest in all aspects of general dental care and is a favorite with our very nervous patients. She is bi-lingual in English and Dutch languages. Outside of work Mariska loves to cook and our staff room is often filled with tasty treats.

Dr Yohann graduated from Griffith University on the Gold Coast in 2017 with a Graduate Diploma in Dental Sciences and had been working in private practice Port Macquarie before moving home to Brisbane and joining out team. He understands that visiting the dentist can be intimidating at times, so his main priority is ensuring that his patients feel relaxed and at ease. He believes in the constant evolution of dentistry and strives to stay current with new techniques that are quicker, more efficient, and gentler, allowing him to provide the best possible care for his patients. He enjoys all the different fields of dentistry, including preventative and cosmetic work but he has a particular interest in implants and prosthodontic work (dentures, crowns, bridges, veneers). Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his young family, swimming, soccer and food.
