Dr Ersan Karadeniz

Dr Ersan Karadeniz completed his Bachelor of Dentistry at Hacettepe University, one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey before moving to Sydney to embark into a Doctor of Philosophy in Orthodontics at the University of Sydney where he was awarded a PhD in Orthodontics in 2011. In 2012, he returned to Turkey to fulfil clinical training in Orthodontics at Karadeniz Technical University where he also worked as Assistant Professor in Orthodontics until 2017. In 2017, he moved back to Australia with his family and worked as full-time Senior Lecturer in Orthodontics at James Cook University, Cairns where he was actively involved in teaching, research, academia and clinical practice. Ersan holds a specialist Orthodontist registration in Turkey, he is a member of the Australian Dental Association, World Federation of Orthodontists, European Orthodontic Society and Turkish Orthodontic Society. Ersan has published several scientific articles in major peer-reviewed orthodontic journals. Ersan is a general dentist with special interest in Orthodontics in Australia. He enjoys treating children, adolescents and adults. He aims to achieve the best dental and facial outcomes, while making orthodontic treatment the most enjoyable experience for all his patients. Outside of dental practice, Ersan enjoys barbecues with friends and family and is a strong supporter of Trabzonspor, his hometown football club.
