Flavia is originally from Brazil and started working as a dentist in Australia in 2013 when she cleared the Australian Dental Council exams. Since then, she has been working as a general dentist in the public health sector and teaching students’ general dentistry at both Griffith University and The University of Queensland. Flavia enjoys all aspects of dentistry especially preventative dental and promoting great oral health habits to keep a healthy and beautiful smile. Outside dentistry she enjoys gardening and walking her mini-Schnauzer around The Gap.

Originally from Lismore NSW, I moved to QLD in 2015 to study Dentistry at the University of Queensland. From a very early age I always wanted to become a dentist because of the care and expert service they provided me and the community. I currently live in Milton with my partner where we love to walk along the Brisbane River and enjoy the Milton markets. After earning a scholarship to work in the Australian Defence Force while studying, I then graduated into full-time work as a Dental Officer in the Australian Army. Here I work to ensure Defence Force personnel are provided with the highest quality dental care with a focus on prevention of oral health issues. As a Dentist, I always strive to be caring and gentle while also providing the highest quality of care. I look forward to bringing my skills to The Gap Dental.

Born and raised in Germany with proud Korean roots, Dr. Sara developed an interest for dentistry early in life. After graduating from the prestigious dental school at the University of Tuebingen in Germany, Dr. Sara decided to bring her expertise to Australia. In 2017, Dr. Sara received the Australian Dental Council (ADC) certificate, solidifying her commitment to providing top-quality dental care in Australia. With a special interest in aesthetic and conservative dentistry, Dr. Sara is dedicated to enhancing smiles and preserving dental health using the latest techniques and technologies. Currently, Dr. Sara is furthering her knowledge by undergoing postgraduate Masters studies in Aesthetic Dentistry at Kings College London. This ongoing education ensures that Dr. Sara stays at the forefront of advancements in dental aesthetics, bringing the best care to her patients. When not at the clinic, Dr. Sara enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her three young children. A passionate baker, she often finds joy in creating delightful treats for family and friends. Dr. Sara looks forward to welcoming you to her practice and helping you achieve the smile of your dreams.
