Originally from Hong Kong, Dr Winnie Yiu was raised and educated in New Zealand. After completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences degree (majoring in Functional Human Biology) at the University of Otago, Dr Yiu furthered her studies and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with Credit) in 2008. Winnie is multi-lingual and can communicate fluently in Cantonese and Mandarin. She enjoys all facets of dentistry, with particular interest in furthering her skills in the area of implants and to provide Invisalign in the future. Dr Yiu is committed to continuing her education to keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys travelling with her husband and cooking.
