Quay Dental’s founder and director, Dr. Alhan Farjo has been following her passion helping patients to achieve the best dental and oral health possible for nearly two decades in Australia and New Zealand. She has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge through working in several private dental practices including Bondi Junction Dental & Medical Centre and Manly Dental Practice before establishing Quay Dental in the heart of Sydney CBD. With a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from University of Otago and memberships in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and the Australian Dental Association (ADA), Dr. Farjo has been constantly learning and growing to stay on the cutting-edge of dentistry and superior patient care. In keeping up with her commitment to continuing education, she frequently attends the annual AACD’s conference, learning about the latest technologies and methodologies across all aspects of smile design and aesthetic dentistry. Dr Farjo gives back to the community by volunteering her time to educate school kids on the importance of good dental hygiene and oral health. She is also active in participating in community fund raising events like the Royal Hospital for women Foundation and St Mary’s primary school. As our principal dental surgeon, Dr. Farjo is committed to meeting all of the general and cosmetic dentistry needs of Sydney CBD’s professionals and their families in a comfortable, informative and positive manner.

Dr. Erica grew up in Sydney and studied dentistry in University of Adelaide. She graduated in 2006 and upon graduation she has been working all around NSW. Working in both rural and metro areas of NSW as a private dentist, she gained extensive experience in all aspects of dentistry. She is passionate about making dentistry approachable to all patients and providing continuity of care. Dr. Erica puts a great emphasis on building a positive patient-doctor relationship. She understands and empathises with the patients and thrives to provide individually tailored care and service to achieve the best outcome. Dr. Erica is committed to keeping herself up to date with the latest evidence-based dentistry and technology through her passion of learning and continuing education. She prides herself in her skills in endodontics and cosmetic dentistry including botox, fillers and invisalign.

Dr Gary Lazer was born in South Africa and lived there for the early part of his life. At 12 years old he emigrated to Canada with his family where he finished his schooling. Gary graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a bachelor of science focused in Biology. He then went on to graduate with a Doctor in Dental Surgery. Following graduation, Gary then moved to Bondi Beach where he continued his career as a dentist. Gary is competent in all areas of dentistry however he particularly enjoys improving patients’ aesthetics and increasing their confidence with a new smile. When Gary is not at work, you can usually find him swimming at Icebergs or on his surfboard in the ocean. He also has a passion for music and uses this to make his patients feel calm and at ease in his chair.
