Dr Sav Gunaratnam

Dr Sav (Suvarna) Gunaratnam, (Dentist) BDSc. (Hons) Passion For Helping People Born and raised in Brisbane, Dr Sav obtained her Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Queensland in 2013. For her entire life, she’s been very passionate about helping people, and looks forward to meeting new patients and helping them to achieve their smile goals. One of the best things about her job is the ability to help people every day and improve their confidence. She also enjoys educating patients on the best oral health practices for them, ensuring a quality smile and proper oral health habits for life. Dr Sav is a member of the Australian Dental Association and takes pride in staying up to date with the latest dental news and technological developments. She believes this gives her the best opportunity for providing patients with the most complete, effective and well-rounded care possible. Prior to joining the TC Smiles team, Dr Sav worked in a private dental practice in Chinchilla for three years. She’s also spent time volunteering abroad in India. When she isn’t in the practice, Dr Sav enjoys travelling, hiking long-distance running and going to the beach as well as travel photography.
