Dr Martin graduated from the University of the Witwatersrend in South Africa in 1978. He Entered the South African Defense Force as a Dentist working in South West Africa in the city of Windhoek. He has worked at the Katatura Hospital practicing dentistry on the indigenous Herero population. He was fortunate enough to also have a long wheel base land cruiser to take a mobile dental clinic into the bush areas to practice dentistry in remote rural areas of South West Africa to Okahenja and Otjivorenko. He entered Private Practice in 1981 in Johannesburg. In 1997 Martin along with his family immigrated to Sydney where he set up practice in Parramatta and has been there ever since. Martin has been married to Terry for 35 years and has three children and two delightful grandsons.

Tamara completed her BDS at the University of Sydney in 1992. Since then, in addition to completing many hours of further education and training in dentistry, she has also earned her BA (Hons) and PhD at the University of NSW. Like Martin, Tamara is committed to providing the best dental treatment she can under relaxed and gentle circumstances. Away from dentistry, Tamara enjoys kayaking, hiking and camping. She tends a large garden, chickens and bees and loves spending time with her three small children at home in the Parramatta area.
