I completed three years of subspecialty training at Prince of Wales Sydney, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and in the USA at AdventHealth Orlando, pioneers in complex abdominal and transanal minimally invasive surgery. I have a keen interest in a range of colorectal and general surgical conditions including haemorrhoids, fistulas, fissures, skin tags, abscesses, colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, gastroscopy, colonoscopy and pilonidal disease. I look to perform most of my major abdominal operations minimally invasively as this allows a faster and smoother recovery for my patients. I am also keen to look at ways to speed my patients' recovery including through opioid-free surgery which I recently published on. I have a passion for seeing an improved quality of life in my patients and is always happy to be contacted by medical colleagues via phone, SMS or email. In my spare time, I am celebrating the recent turn in events of the Melbourne Football Club and play any musical instrument I can get my hands on.
