High Quality, Family Dentistry in Toowoomba The first thing our patients notice when they visit Apollonia House Dental is the elegant Queenslander building that Dr Rob Sivertsen and the practice team have called “home” for over 15 years. We are lucky to be able to work in such a lovely, inspiring environment, and patients seem to appreciate the comfortable sitting-room that acts as our waiting area, and sets the tone for our traditional general dental practice. Often asked about the meaning behind our practice’s name, Rob is happy to explain that it comes from St Apollonia the patron saint of dentistry, and that he inherited the name when he took over the practice. Continuity also plays an important part in our philosophy on health care. We aim to maintain a balance between modern dentistry and the kind of old-fashioned service where you have time to share a conversation at reception, and know the dentist you will be seeing for your appointment is the same one you saw at your last visit. When you see the same dentist for each visit, over time they will gain a deep understanding of your oral health. It is then possible to offer a truly personal service that takes into account your current priorities.
