  • ***If you cannot find an appropriate appointment or your matter is urgent, please call us on 03 83766429 - we usually can fit you in quickly. *** I am a Colorectal and General surgeon that serves the south-eastern community and beyond. I completed three years of subspecialty training at Prince of Wales Sydney, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and in the USA at AdventHealth Orlando, pioneers in complex abdominal and transanal minimally invasive surgery. I am a fellow of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand, the peak body representing Colorectal Surgeons in Australia. In addition, I am the Colorectal Surgery section convener for Annual Scientific Congress for the College of Surgeons in 2020. I am one of the few colorectal surgeons with formal fellowship training in robotic and advanced transanal techniques, and I perform most of my major abdominal operations minimally invasively. I also have a passion for advanced colonoscopy, and completed my Masters of Surgical Education into the training of colonoscopy. At St Vincent’s, I developed a keen interest in complex inflammatory bowel disease as well as proctology in both benign and Crohn’s patients. Much of my research as an adjunct research fellow at Monash University has been into surgical outcomes of colorectal cancer patients, with numerous papers focusing on reducing surgical risks. I have also developed a keen interest in opioid-free surgery which I recently published on. I have a passion for seeing an improved quality of life in my patients and is always happy to be contacted by medical colleagues via phone, SMS or email. In my spare time, I am celebrating the recent turn in events of the Melbourne Football Club and play any musical instrument I can get my hands on.
